Baboon Torture Division - Digital Masturbation

''20 tracks in as many minutes. Electronic wankery at it's finest; filled with 8-bit mishaps and various other things gone horribly wrong. Thanks to the Nintendo corporation for making this album possible.''
-Crunch Pod Media

''This concept album covers songs from my favorite video games in a style that is absolutely mind bending. It seems to be midi files played on some kind of broken synthesizer with 8-bit sampled drum beats and sound efects mixed with energetic screams, banging on pots and pans, and recurring themes of squid and donkeys. The moments of relief from the torrent of Nintendo, porn, and inexplicable samples come toward the end of the album with tracks like 'I See Pretty Girls Everywhere I Go,' an echoing, mourning lament. The standout track on this album has to be the cover of 'I Think We're Alone Now' which features some fairly elaborate orchestration on the church organ, accompanied by drunken, child-molester style vocals. It still gives me chills. Overall this album, recorded in a bedroom by an 18-year-old, sounds like exactly that. It is good for a chuckle, but I wouldn't put it on my top ten. I look forward to more Baboon Torture Division as they develop their skills and recording techniques.''
-Bastard Monkey Magazine

1. A SOUND TO MAKE YOU THINK YOUR STEREO IS MESSED UP AND THE OBLIGITOTY MARIO SONG
This is only the very beginning of the song. I am re-recording this track so it will be the full version, and will be on my new album whenever I make that.

2. I YELLED
Scream. Reverb. Metallic Crunch. About 4 seconds long.

3. THE CRASHMAN LEVEL SONG
The first real song on the album. One of my frends wanted to have a video game rave, so I made remixes of good video game music, but I hate rave music, and gave up making real techno after working on this song for about 5 minutes. So it's still sort of technoish, but less fun to make than everything else on the album.

4. ZELDA AND COIN HEAVEN
A medly of two excellent pieces of music. You can feel the poor sampling quality in this one.

5. HEATMAN
Yeah. This song is embarassing. I should be hurt for making this. But the original song is soo good that it has to be on here.

6. BOWSER IS TOO EASY TO KILL
Don't recognize the music right away? That's because this is the music from the climatic battle between Bowser and Mario in Mario 3. Since you kill him in about 3 seconds, yo never really get to hear the music. Which is too bad cuz its great music.

007. THE SQUID THEME
Ok. So. Mario dies when he jumps off the mushrooms and into the water on 1-3, but on 2-2, he goes underwater and is fine. He doesn't even need to surface for air. What's the deal with that?

8. DOGS HATE TELETUBBIES
Dogs love trucks almost as much as they hate teletubbies.

9. THE UNDERWORLD
This is the underworld from mario 2, which is superior to the music in mario 1 or 3, which are basicly the same except mario 3 has the rap version.

10. THE BABY SQUID
Underwater in Mario 3.

11. GRASSLAND
World one in mario 3. Now we're in the jungle. Would you like to touch my pants?

12. THE LAST THING YOU'D WANT TO HEAR IF YOU WERE JACKING OFF YOUR FATER WHILE HE WATCHED THE SYLVESTER STALLONE WRIST WRESTLING MOVIE

13. ARNOLD'S REVENGE
Fun with Goldwav and a T-1000.

14. EATING THE SQUID
This is really just a piece of a Captian Beefheart song. It's about 2 seconds long.

15. WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE TODAY
Dispite popular theory, Luigi really is the superior character. Princess just can't jump as far and is slow as shit at pulling radishes.

16. SOMEBODY BUY MY DONKEY
Doesn't anybody need a donkey?

17. THE SQUID IS REBORN
Doesn't everybody need a donkey?

18. I SEE PRETTY GIRLS EVERYWHERE I GO
This is a cover of one of the Kids of Whidney High's greatest hits.

19. I THINK WE'RE ALONE NOW
This is a cover of one of Bobby James' greatest hits. The music has been re-orchestrated to more appropriately fit the lyrical content.

20. KILL HITLER THEN BEG FOR A TACO 3D
This track was originally about 20 minutes long, but I've trimmed it down and just kept the highlights.
